AC & EC Combustion Fans
The first combustion fan produced by torin-sifan was over fifty years ago. Originally the Combustion Fan product range was marketed solely under the Sifan brand name until 1997.
During this period Sifan Systems established itself as the clear market leader in our home market in the UK for the supply of AC technology combustion fans to various markets, particularly the residential Gas Boiler industry. Over this period, Sifan Systems has sold into the Gas Boiler Industry over 15 million fans in AC, Low voltage DC & EC technologies.
However, as the demand for Low Voltage DC & EC combustion fans grew during the 1990’s, this was significant for the Torin brand. Unlike Sifan Systems which serviced the combustion market exclusively, the Torin brand was well known in servicing an array of other markets. One of these sectors was electronics cooling within the business machine market which Torin has been servicing for 15 years with Low Voltage DC technology fans. The demands of the market and the synergies and brand strengths of our two brands led to their consolidation and the formation of torin-sifan as a dual branded entity.
Essentially, the combined expertise of Torin in Low Voltage DC & EC technology and Sifan as the premier brand in the combustion market has allowed us to develop a range of Low Voltage DC & EC Combustion fans allowing us to satisfy the international demand for these products.

- Voltages: 24-48V DC, 325V DC or 230V EC
- Reverse polarity protection
- Locked rotor & over current protection
- Speed control via PWM or 0-10V input
- Maximum air/ gas temperature +80c
- Dynamically balanced to ISO/1940 G2.5
- Low profile versions available to optimise space in design

- Forward curved steel or aluminium impeller
- Can be supplied with pressure sensing venturi
- Design life minimum 20,000 hours at 120C bearing temperature
- Low profile versions available to optimise space in design
The production of the complete range is in-house at our UK factory. This includes the winding and production of both the AC shaded pole, Low Voltage DC & 230V EC motors and the final assembly of the blower. As with all torin-sifan products, there is a lot of flexibility within our production process. This means that customisation of our products to your specific requirements is possible and normal.
