Whilst torin-sifan has established itself as one of the leading producers of AC Fandecks in Europe, there are a number of instances where applications can not accept a fandeck or indeed our customers simply prefer not to use a fandeck.

In such instances our clients normally require a double inlet centrifugal ‘POD’ blower complete with its own integral dedicated motor. Sometimes these are used individually or sometimes several may be used in conjunction with each other to achieve a given air flow.

The individual fans can also in some instances offer extra flexibility and value. An example would be a slimline ‘POD’ that uses a 200-052mm impeller which can be horizontally mounted. With a fan height of no more than 76mm, this allows our customer to design a very slim profiled product.

Due to the high volumes we produce of these products, the majority of the housings and impellers we produce are hard tooled, however our CNC machine production cell allows for many other dimensional/ detail profiles to be produced. Smaller housing profiles for a given impeller size are quite common as our customers try and make their product as compact as possible.

TheECMotor that drives this product range is fully produced in our factory in the UK. The motors are wound on our in-house winding machines. Electronics are designed and developed by torin-sifan. The motors are fully assembled in-house and make their way to the ‘POD’ production line for assembly into the final fan for our customers.
