Tangential Fans
Impeller length up to 360 mm as standard

Tangential (also known as Crossflow) fans are used to provide an elegant and efficient solution for many applications wherever air is required uniformly to heat, cool or ventilate.

Tangential fans from Torin-Sifan are typically used in a number of applications that include fan convectors, air curtains and laboratory equipment/electronics cooling. Advantages of tangential fans are their minimal cross sectional size and the fan lengths that are possible, making them a good choice in applications where an even flow of air is required over a given section of coil or ventilation equipment.

The design and the reliability of the high-quality materials used in Torin-Sifan’s tangential fans ensure a good service-life and resistance to the environment.

Key features of the Tangential Fan range include:

  • Single and double shaft/impeller options
  • Impeller lengths from 180 mm – 360 mm as standard
  • Impeller diameter 60 mm as standard
  • Steel construction robust housings
  • Aluminium impellers
  • Available with either open frame shaded-pole motors or energy saving brushless DC/EC motors

The housings, impeller and AC & Brushless DC/EC motors are all produced in-house at our factory in the UK.
