Our chosen charity for 2021 is Swindon and Gloucestershire Mind! This year our staff took a vote and the mental health charity came out on top.
Mental health has been at the top of the agenda throughout the Covid pandemic. It has been reported that 65% of adults and 75% of young people surveyed with experience of mental health problems said their mental health has worsened during lockdown. Over half of adults and young people without experience of mental health problems also said their mental health has got worse during this period (Source:Mind.org). With this in mind, we’re glad we can support such an essential charity in these testing times.
Swindon and Gloucestershire Mind provide advice, support and services to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem in the local area. Now has never been a better time to support. As lockdown starts to lift throughout the year, we aim to hold fundraising activities to help raise money for this important charity.
